Sit 'em and Start 'em for Week 7

Each week, Arena Football Online gives you definitive recommendations for the fantasy players to start in your lineup and those to sit down for better options.

This week, we have more player recommendations for you, based on performance, matchup and intuition.

Jason Fife - Las Vegas
Fife threw 5 TDs last week and is glowing. The Gladiators are averaging more than 50 points a game in Las Vegas and Grand Rapids are 0-3 on the road, leaking 166 in the process. Couple this with loss of FB Marlion Jackson and you can expect even more airtime for Fife.

Other quarterbacks with favorable matchups:  Mark Grieb (San Jose) vs Los Angeles, Clint Stoerner (Nashville) vs Utah, John Fitzgerald (Austin) vs New York

Joe Hamilton - Orlando
Hamilton has probably already been axed, but if not yet, now is the moment. His one offensive outlet (OS Jimmy Fryzel) has contracted diabetes and is out. Orlando have so few offensive options that they are not going to want to get into a point-fest with Arizona and Hamilton isn't the one to win a shootout.

Other quarterbacks with unfavorable matchups:  Sherdrick Bonner (Arizona) vs Orlando, Justin Wood (New York) vs Austin, Tony Graziani (Philadelphia) vs Kansas City

Marcus Nash - Las Vegas
Even though Nash is listed as Questionable, it's about that time of year for Nash to step up. So far, he's been merely great - now it's time for him to get medieval. Nash has a great matchup against the Rampage, particularly with home field advantage and a quarterback brimming with confidence. Watch his injury status as the game approaches.

Other Offensive Specialists with favorable matchups:  CJ Johnson (Chicago) vs Colorado, Damien Harrell (Colorado) vs Chicago, TT Toliver (Nashville) vs Utah, Carl Bond (Columbus) vs Georgia

Marcus Knight - Philadelphia
Although Knight is still struggling with a foot injury, you might be tempted to play him against the Brigade. But Kansas City are surprisingly strong against the pass, but soft as taffy against the run, so this OS won’t score as many as you’d be banking on.

Other Offensive Specialists with unfavorable matchups:  Any Orlando OS vs Arizona, Demetris Bendross (Tampa Bay) vs Dallas, Kevin Swayne (New York) vs Austin

Mike Horacek - New York
NY have been scoring like there is no tomorrow. While their defense will probably conspire to give Austin the win, Horacek will nevertheless make his mark. NY really have to try to outgun their opponents, since they know their defense is going to leak a bunch of points. So a run-and-shoot game is on deck.

Other Wide Receivers with favorable matchups:  James Roe (San Jose) vs Los Angeles, Anthony Hines (Grand Rapids) vs Las Vegas, Bobbie Sippio (Tampa Bay) vs Dallas, JJ McKelvey (Philadelphia) vs Kansas City, Kevin Nickerson (Austin) vs New York, Will Pettis (Dallas) vs Tampa Bay

Derek Lee - Georgia
Lee and Georgia have been blistering all season, but there is something about their trip to Columbus I don’t fancy. The Destroyers have been very strong against the pass, particularly on their own turf. If you have an alternative to Lee with a decent matchup, now is the time to give him his chance in the spotlight.

Other Wide Receivers with unfavorable matchups:  Andy McCullough (Colorado) vs Chicago, Thabiti Davis (Columbus) vs Georgia, Tom Pace (Utah) vs Nashville

Dan Krager - Austin
He leads the league in rushing TDs (excluding those sneaking QBs) and is playing New York’s underpowered defense. In the unpredictable FB World, Krager is a steadying force.

Other Fullbacks with favorable matchups:  Robert Thomas (Georgia) vs Columbus, Chad Dukes (Philadelphia) vs Kansas City, Marlon Moye-Moore (Orlando) vs Arizona, Rodney Filer (Las Vegas) vs Grand Rapids

Bo Kelly - Arizona
Fact: Orlando just don’t give up rushing TDs, so Kelly is not going to give you much. Turn your head from Bo and walk away slowly.

Other Fullbacks with unfavorable matchups:  Dawan Moss (Kansas City) vs Philadelphia, Josh Jeffries (Los Angeles) vs San Jose, Chris Avery (Grand Rapids) vs Las Vegas

Rashad Floyd - Colorado
He's Back!!! After tallying 13 solo tackles last week, Floyd is officially out of his malaise. Look for another big performance in a huge game against Chicago.

Other Defensive Specialists with favorable matchups:  Monty Montgomery (Nashville) vs Utah, Jeroid Johnson (Orlando) vs Arizona, Jonathan Ordway (Tampa Bay) vs Dallas, TJ Hill (Las Vegas) vs Grand Rapids, DeShane Dennis (New York) vs Austin

Donvetis Franklin - Austin
Franklin comes into each season with high marks, but 4 tackles in the last two games make you wonder if he minds getting hit.

Other Defensive Specialists with unfavorable matchups:  Nate Coggins (Georgia) vs Columbus, Marvin Taylor (Grand Rapids) vs Las Vegas, Eddie Moten (Philadelphia) vs Kansas City

Dan Frantz - Chicago
The man's been on fire since returning to kick for the Rush. 12ppg and 3 FGs last week will make any owner smile. Frantz will get plenty of chances as the Rush try to keep up with Colorado.

Other Kickers with favorable matchups:  Carlos Martinez (Dallas) vs Tampa Bay, Remy Hamilton (Los Angeles) vs San Jose, Peter Martinez (Grand Rapids) vs Las Vegas, Steve Videtich (Utah) vs Nashville

Bill Gramatica - Tampa Bay
We're not fooled by Gramatica's one week in the star role. He's still too inaccurate to start until he proves it twice. Plus, Tim Marcum has a track record of dumping kickers like week-old bread.

Other Kickers with unfavorable matchups: Jay Taylor (Orlando) vs Arizona, Jess Obert (New York) vs Austin, Tim Seder (Kansas City) vs Philadelphia
