Sit 'em and Start 'em for Week 15

Last week we told you to start Sherdrick Bonner (34 fantasy points), Freddie Solomon (41 FPs), Marlion Jackson (16 FPs), and Rashad Floyd (25 FPs) and advised you to sit Tony Locke (16 FPs), Frank Carter (8 FPs), and Kenny McEntyre (9 FPs).

This week, we have more player recommendations for you, based on performance, matchup and intuition.

Joe Hamilton - Orlando
Despite being benched during Week 14, Hamilton is still a vital part of Orlando's playoff hopes. Kansas City are much improved, but remains one of the teams you hope to be playing when you need a confidence boost. Joe will rebound with a good day, but if the game is a blowout, he might sit early to avoid injury.

Other quarterbacks with favorable matchups:  Mark Grieb (San Jose) vs Colorado, Matt Nagy (Georgia) vs New York, John Dutton (Colorado) vs San Jose, Clint Dolezel (Dallas) vs Philadelphia, Andy Kelly (Utah) vs Chicago

Craig Whelihan - Las Vegas
Not much going right for Las Vegas at present. Four straight defeats and Whelihan was rusty in Week 14, with only two rushing scores saving his fantasy totals. The trip to Arizona could end in disaster. If you're in the playoffs, you probably already have alternatives – but this is no week to go with Craig.

Other quarterbacks with unfavorable matchups:  Shane Stafford (Tampa Bay) vs Columbus, Chris Sanders (Kansas City) vs Orlando, Connell Maynor (Philadelphia) vs Dallas, Sonny Cumbie (Los Angeles) vs Nashville

Kevin Swayne - New York
The New York vs Georgia matchup promises a very high scoring game. Georgia have scored more points on the road than any team and, after their slow start, New York have been scoring heavily, particularly on home turf. Swayne is not a top tier OS, in large part due to the presence of Mike Horacek as first choice receiver. However there'll be plenty to go around in Week 15 and Swayne will do very nicely.

Other Offensive Specialists with favorable matchups:  Chris Jackson (Georgia) vs New York, Siaha Burley (Utah) vs Chicago, Curtis Fagan (Arizona) vs Grand Rapids, Ben Nelson (San Jose) vs Colorado, Damien Harrell (Colorado) vs San Jose

Marcus Nash - Las Vegas
As the quarterback turns, so turns his offensive specialist. When Jason Fife started tailing off of his impressive start, Nash took the hit as well. With Craig Whelihan back, Nash hasn't fared much better, scoring in the teens in three of the past five weeks. Although he's a monster talent, it's time to sit Nash down.

Other Offensive Specialists with unfavorable matchups: Marcus Knight (Columbus) vs Tampa Bay, Freddie Solomon (Tampa Bay) vs Columbus, Steve Smith (Philadelphia) vs Dallas

Derek Lee - Georgia
This is not the first time I have started Derek this season but I make no apologies. He has been high quality despite sharing the receiving duties with the even more impressive Chris Jackson. The visit to NY is an important game for both teams as they jockey for advantageous playoff positions. I expect both teams to frequent the endzone with startling regularity, and any offensive players on either team should be certain starts.

Other Wide Receivers with favorable matchups:  James Roe (San Jose) vs Colorado, Willis Marshall (Colorado) vs San Jose, Mike Horacek (New York) vs Georgia, Will Pettis (Dallas) vs Philadelphia, Kevin Nickerson (Austin) vs Grand Rapids, Javarus Dudley (Orlando) vs Kansas City

Etu Molden - Chicago
Chicago have begun to dominate my sit and start column. Their mercurial form has them up and down quicker than a Frenchman's trousers. This week the Fickle Finger of Fate has them warming the bench. They were in absolute disarray last week and the visit of the surging Blaze suggests that a return to scoring form is not going to happen.

Other Wide Receivers with unfavorable matchups:  Andy McCullough (Colorado) vs Orlando, Aaron Boone (Kansas City) vs Orlando, Josh Bush (Grand Rapids) vs Austin, Lawrence Samuels (Tampa Bay) vs Columbus

Dan Alexander - Nashville
Alexander has been healthy lately, responding with double-digit fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games. Enter the defensively challenged Los Angeles Avengers and Alexander has a chance for multiple scores.

Other Fullbacks with favorable matchups:  Phil Glover (San Jose) vs Colorado, Marlon Moye-Moore (Orlando) vs Kansas City, Marlion Jackson (Las Vegas) vs Arizona, Harold Wells (Columbus) vs Tampa Bay

Robert Thomas - Georgia
Thomas is listed as Questionable this week and has been nursing a cold leading up to the big game with the Dragons. With Kevin Aldridge running well, expect Thomas to get some rest.

Other Fullbacks with unfavorable matchups:  Kevin Clemens (Utah) vs Chicago, Lonnie Ford (Los Angeles) vs Nashville, Chris Ryan (Grand Rapids) vs Austin

Nate Coggins - Georgia
The N-Cog returned from suspension last week to post an impressive 11 tackles in the win over Chicago. With Chris Brown hitting the rookie wall, Coggins will be even more relied upon against the high-flying Dragons offense. Look for N-Cog to get his 20+ fantasy points again this week

Other Defensive Specialists with favorable matchups:  Rashad Floyd (Colorado) vs San Jose, Donvetis Franklin (Austin) vs Grand Rapids, Khalil Carter (Orlando) vs Kansas City, Eddie Moten (Philadelphia) vs Dallas

Monty Montgomery - Nashville
Montgomery had been one of the most consistent performers in the fantasy realm until dinging up his ribs, which caused him to miss a few games. Since returning, he's been tentative at best, collecting only 8 tackles in the past two weeks. Time to rest Mr. Montgomery for healthier choices.

Other Defensive Specialists with unfavorable matchups:  Kenny McEntyre (Orlando) vs Kansas City, Jonathan Ordway (Tampa Bay) vs Columbus, Jermaine Jones (Dallas) vs Philadelphia

Mark Lewis - Columbus
Lewis has been dead on lately, nailing 12 field goals in his last six games. Over that span, he's a perfect 31 for 31 on extra points as well. With the Columbus offense sputtering, Lewis is a sure bet to get a couple FG chances again this week.

Other Kickers with favorable matchups:  Carlos Martinez (Dallas) vs Philadelphia, Brian Schmitz (San Jose) vs Colorado, Remy Hamilton (Los Angeles) vs Nashville, Jay Taylor (Orlando) vs Kansas City

Todd Sievers - Austin
Sievers has stalled of late, being victimized by the erratic Wrangler offense. He's had fantasy weeks of 6, 8, 13 and 1 point in the last four games, with three field goals made. Look elsewhere this week, as it may not get easier against the Rampage.

Other Kickers with unfavorable matchups: Peter Martinez (Grand Rapids) vs Austin, Gary Kral (Arizona) vs Las Vegas, Bill Gramatica (Tampa Bay) vs Columbus
