Sit 'em and Start 'em for Week 10

Last week we told you to start Damien Harrell (32 fantasy points), Mike Horacek (53 FPs) and Gary Kral (13 FPs) and advised you to sit Phil Glover (zero FPs) and Mark Grieb (22 FPs). Steve Smith surprised us, but you can't win them all, can you?

This week, we have more player recommendations for you, based on performance, matchup and intuition.

Matt Nagy - Georgia
Nagy has been a solid starting QB all season long for the Force and ought to go to town against the woeful Brigade. If the Storm couldn't stop Nagy from throwing 8 TDs last week, what hope do the Kansas City Bunglers have? Nagy's gone for 22 TD passes in the past 3 weeks.

Other quarterbacks with favorable matchups:  Clint Dolezel (Dallas) vs Columbus, Sonny Cumbie (Los Angeles) vs Las Vegas, Jason Fife (Las Vegas) vs Los Angeles, Nick Browder (New York) vs Grand Rapids

Sherdrick Bonner - Arizona
I know Bonner's been on a tear lately, but his 39 TD passes in 8 games work out to slightly below 5 per game. With a tricky road trip coming up against San Jose, I'd expect Bonner to be steady, run the offense and be non-spectacular.

Other quarterbacks with unfavorable matchups:  John Kaleo (Columbus) vs Dallas, John Dutton (Colorado) vs Nashville, Mark Grieb (San Jose) vs Arizona, Jason Gesser (Utah) vs Tampa Bay

Jimmy Fryzel - Orlando
Fryzel returned from his diabetes diagnosis last week and burned the Wranglers for 3 TDs. Orlando have been scoring big in recent weeks and the visit of the Rush will not stop that trend. Fryzel's season is back on track and we'll be glad to see him bust out again this week.

Other Offensive Specialists with favorable matchups:  Marcus Nash (Las Vegas) vs Los Angeles, Chris Jackson (Georgia) vs Kansas City, Derrick Lewis (Austin) vs Philadelphia, Ben Nelson (San Jose) vs Arizona

CJ Johnson - Chicago
Johnson had a huge Week 6, scoring 40 fantasy points, and looked to be very involved in the Rush offense. In the last three weeks he's scored only 29 total fantasy points, with only 1 TD. Not what you're hoping for from an OS. Sit him or lose with him.

Other Offensive Specialists with unfavorable matchups:  Kevin Swayne (New York) vs Grand Rapids, Steve Smith (Philadelphia) vs Austin, Damien Groce (Arizona) vs San Jose, Jerel Myers (Kansas City) vs Georgia

James Roe - San Jose
Lately, San Jose has gone away from Roe, focusing the offense on Ben Nelson as Roe runs interference. Not so this week, as the Rattlers come to town. Expect OS-like numbers from the WR position in this key Western Division matchup.

Other Wide Receivers with favorable matchups:  Will Pettis (Dallas) vs Columbus, Mike Horacek (New York) vs Grand Rapids, Kevin Ingram (Los Angeles) vs Las Vegas, Lawrence Samuels (Tampa Bay) vs Utah, Kevin Nickerson (Austin) vs Philadelphia, Randy Gatewood (Arizona) vs San Jose

Anthony Hines - Grand Rapids
Hines has been excellent all season, but the Rampage are winless on the road. Take into account the emergence of Timon Marshall and Josh Bush, meaning Hines isn't getting the same number of chances. This week, the Dragons will take no prisoners so give Hines a week to think things over.

Other Wide Receivers with unfavorable matchups:  Mike Brown (Philadelphia) vs Austin, Cornelius White (Chicago) vs Orlando, Greg Hopkins (Los Angeles) vs Las Vegas, Willis Marshall (Colorado) vs Nashville

Robert Thomas - Georgia
Look, the Brigade are putrid and teams usually attempt an inordinate amount of running plays against Kansas City. Robert Thomas knows only one way: Up and Over. Expect him to set season highs for carries, yards and TDs.

Other Fullbacks with favorable matchups:  Dan Alexander (Nashville) vs Colorado, Chad Dukes (Philadelphia) vs Austin, Marlon-Moye Moore (Orlando) vs Chicago, Lonnie Ford (Los Angeles) vs Las Vegas

Brian Johnson - San Jose
This is going to become a trend. The Rule will be: When a FB scores 3 TDs in a game, sit him the following week. That stays true with Johnson, who preceded his 37-point outburst with weeks of 0, 0, 4, 11 and 2 FPs. Remember how the tortoise won that race... slow and steady.

Other Fullbacks with unfavorable matchups:  Marlion Jackson (Las Vegas) vs Los Angeles (OUT), Kevin Clemens (Utah) vs Tampa Bay, Bob McMillen (Chicago) vs Orlando

Monty Montgomery - Nashville
Montgomery returned last week from his finger injury and jumped rightback into the fray, flying all over the field against San Jose and recording 5 tackles and an INT, giving him 7 INTs in 7 games. Expect him to be busy against the Crush.

Other Defensive Specialists with favorable matchups:  Rashad Floyd (Colorado) vs Nashville, TJ Hill (Las Vegas) vs Los Angeles, Damon Mason (Austin) vs Philadelphia, Eddie Moten (Philadelphia) vs Austin, Nate Coggins (Georgia) vs Kansas City, Khalil Carter (Orlando) vs Chicago

Jeriod Johnson - Orlando
Since his 26-pt outburst (which included only 4 tackles but 2 INT returns for TDs), Johnson has tallied 6 and 10 points in the crowded Orlando defensive backfield. The addition of Khalil Carter didn't help Johnson's numbers, so sit him for better options.

Other Defensive Specialists with unfavorable matchups:  Antuan Simmons (Los Angeles) vs Las Vegas, Clevan Thomas (San Jose) vs Arizona, Jonathan Ordway (Tampa Bay) vs Utah

Bill Gramatica - Tampa Bay
Against Utah at home, Billy The G will get lots of chances. His kicks have been a thing of beauty lately as he's adjusted his swing, shortening it for the indoor game. Expect good things from Gramatica this week as Tim Marcum finally has confidence in a kicker.

Other Kickers with favorable matchups:  Carlos Martinez (Dallas) vs Columbus, Remy Hamilton (Los Angeles) vs Las Vegas, Gary Kral (Arizona) vs San Jose, Jay Taylor (Orlando) vs Chicago

Mark Lewis - Columbus
Yes, he scored 20 points last week. But leading up to that effort, Lewis had scored 8, 6 and 8. That's what you'll get this week, if you're lucky, against a mad Dallas defense. Don't believe in One-Hit Wonders.

Other Kickers with unfavorable matchups: Brian Schmitz (San Jose) vs Arizona, Eric Houle (Las Vegas) vs Los Angeles, Todd France (Philadelphia) vs Austin
