Player Rankings for Week 9

The positional rankings are for Arena fantasy football fans who want that extra edge in setting their weekly lineups.

A fantasy player's most recent performances are taken into account, as well as upcoming opponent, injury status and the focus of that player's offense.

  1. Clint Dolezel
  2. Mark Grieb
  3. John Dutton
  4. Shane Stafford
  5. Jason Fife
  6. Matt Nagy
  7. Matt D'Orazio
  8. Sherdrick Bonner
  9. Sonny Cumbie
  10. Nick Browder
  11. John Fitzgerald
  12. Joe Hamilton
  13. Tony Graziani
  14. Chad Salisbury
  15. John Kaleo

Shane Stafford showed his ribs were not a problem and he and Matt Nagy should put up lots of points in a key Southern Division showdown. Nick Browder deserves a jump up in the rankings after playing well and now faces the Brigade at home. Don't be discouraged by Jason Fife's down game, as he gets Utah's defense which is the miracle cure for QB woes. Sherdrick Bonner has been playing very well and should post monster stats versus the Avengers. Joe Hamilton will make a believer out of me if he can post good stats on the road against a good Austin defense.

  1. Damien Harrell
  2. Marcus Nash
  3. Siaha Burley
  4. TT Toliver
  5. Chris Jackson
  6. Terrill Shaw
  7. Anthony Hines
  8. Darrel Jones
  9. Ben Nelson
  10. Derrick Lewis
  11. Tony Locke
  12. Kevin Swayne
  13. Freddie Solomon
  14. JJ McKelvey
  15. Steve Smith
  16. CJ Johnson

Marcus Nash takes a bit of a bump up because of his matchup with Utah. TT Toliver may not have name recognition, but has been consistently good this year. With more and more players shifting in and out of the OS position, Siaha Burley, Damien Harrell and Chris Jackson become all the more valuable, since they are entrenched starters. Don't expect a repeat of Terrill Shaw's numbers from last week, as Dallas is too deep for that to happen consistently, but still expect good enough numbers to warrant a start. Darrel Jones, Derrick Lewis and Ben Nelson may be available in your league, and have been as good as anyone lately.

  1. James Roe
  2. Derek Lee
  3. Kevin Ingram
  4. Will Pettis
  5. Kevin Nickerson
  6. Timon Marshall
  7. Randy Gatewood
  8. Mike Horacek
  9. David Saunders
  10. Etu Molden
  11. Dialleo Burks
  12. Bobby Sippio
  13. Jerrian James
  14. Lawrence Samuels
  15. Mike Brown
  16. Javarus Dudley
  17. Orshwante Bryant
  18. Greg Hopkins
  19. Cornelius White
  20. James Jordan

James Roe took a backseat to Ben Nelson last week but I expect the Sabercats to re-focus on their star versus Nashville. Timon Marshall leads the AFL in all-purpose yards. What can I say about Will Pettis except that he should never be out of your fantasy lineup. Randy Gatewood should eat the Avengers D alive this week, as the Rattlers are hitting their stride. Jerrian James is listed as Questionable and if he can't go, expect even more helium-filled stats for Javarus Dudley. Mike Horacek makes a great start this week versus Kansas City, since the Dragons can't just run, run, run like the last few teams to blow out the Brigade.

  1. Dane Krager
  2. Robert Thomas
  3. Bob McMillen
  4. Phil Glover
  5. Chris Avery
  6. Chad Dukes
  7. Dan Alexander
  8. Duke Pettijohn
  9. Lonnie Ford
  10. Idris Price
  11. Rodney Filer
  12. Dawan Moss
  13. Marlon Moye-Moore
  14. Bo Kelly

As expected, Phil Glover came through big last week. Expect San Jose to continue to attempt to control the game with Glover. Congratulations to Bob McMillen. He's a class act and a complete player. Chris Avery, Idris Price and Lonnie Ford have all started to live up to pre-season billing. Price has sandwiched huge weeks with invisible weeks, so be careful. Robert Thomas quietly seems to score once a week, and for a FB, that's consistency you can live with. Dan Alexander returned from a Week 2 injury and promptly ran for 36 yards and a TD. Alexander is talented and we'd love to see him stay healthy.

  1. Rashad Floyd
  2. Damon Mason
  3. Chris Brown
  4. Jermaine Jones
  5. Antuan Simmons
  6. Kahlil Carter
  7. Jeroid Johnson
  8. TJ Hill
  9. Jonathan Ordway
  10. Jeremy Unertl
  11. Denario Smalls
  12. Clevan Thomas
  13. Nate Coggins
  14. Eddie Moten
  15. Delvin Hughley
  16. Mark Ricks
  17. Johnnie Harris
  18. Bobby Perry
  19. Jerald Brown

Rashad Floyd is listed as Probable and should play. The DS position is deep this year, and there's not much difference between #15 and #5. Antuan Simmons was named Defensive Player of the Week after returning a key INT for a TD versus Colorado. Kahlil Carter caught a TD for Orlando but his tackle numbers were way down. Jeremy Unertl six consecutive double-digit fantasy scores. Jermaine Jones has scored in double-digits every single week. Mark Ricks has scored 10 and 17 since taking over for injured Dahnel Singfield.

  1. Remy Hamilton
  2. Peter Martinez
  3. Carlos Martinez
  4. Todd Sievers
  5. Dan Frantz
  6. Bill Gramatica
  7. Gary Kral
  8. Steve Videtich
  9. Brian Schmitz
  10. Jay Taylor

The only surprise here would be if I told you NOT to start Remy Hamilton. No team has more confidence in their kicking game than Los Angeles and no kicker boots a prettier ball than Hamilton. Carlos Martinez made a perfect 57-yard FG last week to end the first half. Gary Kral has been taking advantage of Arizona's offensive improvement and is 39 of 43 this year on PATs. Okay, it's official... Bill Gramatica has won my favor and should be started each and every week.
