Player Rankings for Week 16

The positional rankings are for Arena fantasy football fans who want that extra edge in setting their weekly lineups.

A fantasy player's most recent performances are taken into account, as well as upcoming opponent, injury status and the focus of that player's offense.

  1. Clint Dolezel
  2. John Dutton
  3. Chris Sanders
  4. Joe Germaine
  5. Mark Grieb
  6. Matt Nagy
  7. Nick Browder
  8. Sherdrick Bonner
  9. Matt D'Orazio
  10. Shane Stafford
  11. Tony Graziani
  12. Sonny Cumbie
  13. Joe Hamilton
  14. Craig Whelihan
  15. Clint Stoerner
  16. John Kaleo
  17. Michael Bishop

Expect Clint Dolezel to come out gunning this week. Sitting 6 TDs shy of setting the Passing TD record, Dolezel won't rest until those 6, and probably a few more, are secured. Chris Sanders and Joe Germaine both make excellent plays this week in a game that should feature no defense. Mark Grieb runs into a pretty tough Columbus defense but has too many weapons at his disposal to be slowed down too much. Matt D'Orazio also makes a great play with the Rush playoff chances on the line against Grand Rapids. Don't expect Tony Graziani to match his success this week against the Force.

  1. Damien Harrell
  2. Siaha Burley
  3. Bobby Sippio
  4. Chris Jackson
  5. Ben Nelson
  6. Terrill Shaw
  7. Damien Groce
  8. Anthony Hines
  9. Jimmy Fryzel
  10. Kevin Swayne
  11. Freddie Solomon
  12. Marcus Nash
  13. Jerel Myers
  14. Tony Locke
  15. Derrick Lewis
  16. TT Toliver
  17. Steve Smith

Damien Harrell won't rest this week against Arizona at home. Play him with confidence, as it's impossible to cover the man. Siaha Burley should meet with little resistance against the Brigade. Two 6 TD weeks out of three mark Bobby Sippio as a must start. He should find plenty of open space against the Rampage. Damien Groce is a sneaky play against the Crush, as the Rattlers seek to stay hot heading into the playoffs. Expect tempered numbers for Ben Nelson this week against a very good Destroyers defense. Anthony Hines could out-produce many of his peers this weekend in a shoot-out with the Rush.

  1. Randy Gatewood
  2. Kevin Ingram
  3. Will Pettis
  4. Aaron Boone
  5. James Roe
  6. Mike Horacek
  7. Derek Lee
  8. Javarus Dudley
  9. Timon Marshall
  10. Lawrence Samuels
  11. Etu Molden
  12. Kevin Nickerson
  13. Andy McCullough
  14. Rob Turner
  15. Willis Marshall
  16. Jerrian James
  17. Sean Scott
  18. David Saunders
  19. Dialleo Burks
  20. Mike Brown
  21. James Jordan
  22. Greg Hopkins
  23. Orshwante Bryant

Randy Gatewood should rip it up against the Crush defense. Kevin Ingram should score plenty against the hapless Gladiators, especially now that the Avengers have shown their not about to pack it in. Mike Horacek has a tough matchup against the Desperados this week and you'd be better relying on Aaron Boone or Timon Marshall, who both have looser opponents staring them down. Javarus Dudley has most likely been overlooked all season, but is a constant producer on both sides of the ball. Etu Molden's frustrating season continues, as his new OS has overwhelmed him in attention. I'd also stay away from Lawrence Samuels and Sean Scott this week, especially if you have a championship game to win.

  1. Marlion Jackson
  2. Lonnie Ford
  3. Dan Alexander
  4. Dane Krager
  5. Phil Glover
  6. Brian Johnson
  7. Harold Wells
  8. Marlon Moye-Moore
  9. Duke Pettijohn
  10. Wes Ours
  11. Frank Carter
  12. Chad Dukes
  13. Bob McMillen
  14. Rodney Filer
  15. Bo Kelly
  16. Chris Avery
  17. Robert Thomas

For my money, Marlion Jackson is the most athletic FB in the Arena Football League. Expect Jackson and Lonnie Ford to score in the defenseless Avengers vs Gladiators point-fest. Something tells me the Sabercats will try to run more (if that's possible) against the Destroyers, making both Brian Johnson and Phil Glover good choices. Dan Alexander will score again too against the Storm, so don't hesitate to plug him in there for your big game this week.

  1. Rashad Floyd
  2. Eddie Moten
  3. Chris Brown
  4. Jermaine Jones
  5. Damon Mason
  6. Nate Coggins
  7. Jeremy Unertl
  8. Clevan Thomas
  9. DeShane Dennis
  10. Donvetis Franklin
  11. Jerald Brown
  12. Brandon Hefflin
  13. Thal Woods
  14. Clarence Lawson
  15. Johnnie Harris
  16. Hamin Milligan
  17. Kahlil Carter
  18. Bobby Perry
  19. Delvin Hughley
  20. Monty Montgomery
  21. Mark Ricks
  22. Kevin Moffett

As Chris Brown tails off at the end of his rookie season, Rashad Floyd just keeps playing stronger. Expect another 20-point effort from Floyd. Damon Mason seems to be revived and it's time that I started respecting Donvetis Franklin some. DeShane Dennis has had a very nice season for the Dragons, but should get burned plenty again the Desperados. Clevan Thomas has elevated his game of late, so play him against the Rattlers.

  1. Remy Hamilton
  2. Peter Martinez
  3. Mark Lewis
  4. Carlos Martinez
  5. Bill Gramatica
  6. Jay Taylor
  7. Brian Schmitz
  8. Steve Videtich
  9. Todd Sievers
  10. Dan Frantz
  11. Gary Kral
  12. Clay Rush

Not much to report on the kicker side. I don't expect much to change from week to week in this part of the rankings. Remy Hamilton is the best and should see plenty of points against Las Vegas. Steve Videtich could be in for a huge day against the Brigade, as could Peter Martinez against the Rush. As could Dan Frantz against the Rampage. And Mark Lewis should get into double-digits easily against the Sabercats.
