Player Rankings for Week 12

The positional rankings are for Arena fantasy football fans who want that extra edge in setting their weekly lineups.

A fantasy player's most recent performances are taken into account, as well as upcoming opponent, injury status and the focus of that player's offense.

  1. Clint Dolezel
  2. Mark Grieb
  3. John Dutton
  4. Shane Stafford
  5. Matt Nagy
  6. Sonny Cumbie
  7. Chris Sanders
  8. Jason Fife
  9. Sherdrick Bonner
  10. Joe Hamilton
  11. Jason Gesser
  12. Nick Browder
  13. Matt D'Orazio
  14. John Kaleo
  15. Clint Stoerner
  16. Matt Sauk

Clint Dolezel should have an easy time of it against Grand Rapids and Mark Grieb should top his zero TDs last week. John Dutton also gets a cakewalk against the Brigade. What isn't so obvious is that Chris Sanders also gets a cakewalk against Colorado. Should be some big numbers coming from that game. Clint Stoerner returned but faces a stiff Philadelphia defense, so look elsewhere for your quarterback. Tony Graziani is out with a torn hamstring and Matt Sauk will handle the QB duties for the Soul. This would have been a great week for Joe Germaine to return, but it looks like at least another week of Jason Gesser.

  1. Damien Harrell
  2. Chris Jackson
  3. Siaha Burley
  4. Marcus Nash
  5. Ben Nelson
  6. Derrick Lewis
  7. Terrill Shaw
  8. Tony Locke
  9. Jimmy Fryzel
  10. TT Toliver
  11. Freddie Solomon
  12. Anthony Hines
  13. Damien Groce
  14. Kevin Swayne
  15. Steve Smith
  16. CJ Johnson

Siaha Burley has a nice matchup this week in the key division shootout with Los Angeles. Those western teams know how to score, so Tony Locke also makes a good play this week. Marcus Nash and Ben Nelson both should see plenty of opportunities in the other Western Division shootout. Damien Harrell gets to play against Kansas City this week, so anything short of 100+ yards and 3 TDs would be a shock. Derrick Lewis has seen a revival lately and should find some openings against Tampa Bay. Chris Jackson faces his second tough matchup in a row when the Force travel to Orlando.

  1. Kevin Ingram
  2. James Roe
  3. Randy Gatewood
  4. Will Pettis
  5. Mike Horacek
  6. Derek Lee
  7. Timon Marshall
  8. Aaron Boone
  9. Lawrence Samuels
  10. Andy McCullough
  11. Kevin Nickerson
  12. Javarus Dudley
  13. David Saunders
  14. Willis Marshall
  15. Jerrian James
  16. Mike Brown
  17. James Jordan
  18. Greg Hopkins
  19. Sean Scott
  20. Dialleo Burks
  21. Orshwante Bryant

Kevin Ingram should have a field day against the Utah defense. Randy Gatewood is being targeted often in Arizona and I don't see the quickly deteriorating Chicago Rush putting the brakes on him. James Roe will recover from his down week, which wasn't forced by his play, but by San Jose's insistence on running. Aaron Boone makes a great play against the Brigade, as does Andy McCullough. David Saunders has been playing very well and should be able to score a couple of times against the Dragons. It hurts my head to admit that all Philadelphia receivers were better off with Tony Graziani in the game. Don't expect much from the Soul.

  1. Frank Carter
  2. Chris Avery
  3. Robert Thomas
  4. Dane Krager
  5. Phil Glover
  6. Brian Johnson
  7. Dan Alexander
  8. Wes Ours
  9. Harold Wells
  10. Duke Pettijohn
  11. Chad Dukes
  12. Lonnie Ford
  13. Bob McMillen
  14. Rodney Filer
  15. Bo Kelly

Both Frank Carter and Dan Alexander should get some chances against the Philadelphia defense. Carter is more valuable because of his defensive play. Dane Krager sat out last week. Wes Ours scored twice and looked good doing it. He might be leaned on more with a new QB in for the Soul. Phil Glover and Brian Johnson probably won't score two each this week, but one of them will score at least once. Harold Wells makes a good play against the Dragons this week.

  1. Rashad Floyd
  2. Chris Brown
  3. Damon Mason
  4. Jermaine Jones
  5. Monty Montgomery
  6. Jeroid Johnson
  7. TJ Hill
  8. Jeremy Unertl
  9. Jonathan Ordway
  10. Jerald Brown
  11. Brandon Hefflin
  12. Antuan Simmons
  13. Eddie Moten
  14. Clevan Thomas
  15. Johnnie Harris
  16. Kahlil Carter
  17. Denario Smalls
  18. Delvin Hughley
  19. Mark Ricks

Ok, I was right about Brandon Hefflin before I admitted I was wrong. He's too inconsistent to depend on week to week. Rashad Floyd picked off three last week and has a chance to do more damage against the Brigade and their rookie QB. Chris Brown shook off a slow start and ended with 10 solo tackles and is my choice for Rookie of the Year based on his consistency. Khalil Carter is listed as Questionable, so look around for other options. Jeremy Unertl should have his hands full with the Arizona receivers but it could lead to good stats, since he'll be playing defense quite a bit.

  1. Remy Hamilton
  2. Carlos Martinez
  3. Bill Gramatica
  4. Peter Martinez
  5. Todd Sievers
  6. Gary Kral
  7. Steve Videtich
  8. Brian Schmitz
  9. Jay Taylor
  10. Keith Gispert

Not much to report on the kicker side. I don't expect much to change from week to week in this part of the rankings. Gary Kral is still a nice sleeper in the potent Arizona offense against the reeling Rush. Brian Schmitz and Steve Videtich should get tons of chances in their games. Jay Taylor may get more FG opportunites than normal against a suddenly stout Force defense.
